Shrikrishna Upadhyay (lovingly called Shri), as Managing Director, draws new business strategies and puts Imosys on growth wheels. Shri brings nearly two and half decades of extensive experience in Corporate Leadership (Vision, Strategy & Execution), Business Process Mapping, Development & Leading Startup, Turnaround and change capitalization strategy.
In terms of technical domain, Shri carries rich and video experience in design & development, starting from Aerospace, then Wind Power and now Mould Engineering. Shri and Prabhu, the duo give a big advantage to Imosys in cropping the innovating ideas and implementation as former being Design & Development expert and the later expert in manufacturing, execution and operational management.
Prior to Imosys, Shri had held various leadership positions like Chief Operations Officer at INOX Wind Limited, Senior Director & Country Head at LM Wind Power, Engineering Manager at Eaton Aerospace and Manager (Design) at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL).
While being at LM Wind Power Shrikrishna was directing the entire operations of the organization; planning and developing methods & procedures to successfully implement the start-up of the LM R&D.
Ensuring implementation of design for Six Sigma (DFSS), DFMEA, PFMEA and QFD globally in LM R&D
Mentoring a team of 105 Engineers which includes teams working on Product Design (Product Development), CAD (Pro-E and UG), simulations and analysis (CFD, FEA, and Reliability), Six Sigma, Quality and Material & processes (Composite Material); 34 Service Engineers and 4 Outsourcing members
At Eaton Aerospace, he led a team of 40 Engineers for new product development and established new test facilities for prototype testing.
During his 9 years of experience at HAL he mentored a team of 15 Engineers for new product development. Handled the design and development of Hydro-Mechanical (Axial Piston Pumps), Electro-mechanical (Electric Pumps Motor Package) accessories and Hydraulic Power packs for Aircraft, helicopter and space use.
Managing assembly and testing of accessories to meet airworthiness requirement.
Shrikrishna holds a master degree in Aerospace (Aviation safety and Aircraft Airworthiness) from ENSICA / ENAC Toulouse, FRANCE and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya Regional Engineering College (NIT), Nagpur.
